Earth Worms
Earth Worms are divided into segments or parts. They are found in salt and fresh water as well as in the soil. Earthworms are helpful to man as bait for fishing and more importantly, because they loosen the soil for roots to grow.
There are 2700 species of earthworms. Earthworms have many enemies including animals that eat them and man who uses them. As you may see here is a casting of a Earth Worm.

Surf Life Saving Ed
It was a amazing start to the day when I heard that we were on our way to Mairangi bay. We all jumped in the bus feeling ecstatic . It was a long ride but we finally arrived. Mrs Nua told us our parent helpers and who were in our groups. We all got in to our groups and travelled up stairs to the room. Megan, Rosie, Rechal, and Bailey introduced them selves then they told us the schedule for the day. First thing we did was we went for a tour around the beach.
It was time for morning tea we all got our bags from up stairs and ate. After we ate our morning tea we had a little play around. We went up stairs to the life guards room and learnt a few simple rules to remember while we were at the beach. When we had learnt the rules we played some beach games. Our first exciting game we played was bull rush touch on the sand. Me and Rachael both tripped up and fell. After we played Bull rush touch Megan told us after we finished eating our lunch to get changed in to our togs ready for some water activities
It was time for lunch. We ate our lunch and got changed into our togs as Megan instructed us to. Lunch time had finished we were all feeling excited to be in the water. Megan told us where the boundaries were and what water activities we were doing. When I heard Boogie boarding I could hardly wait. We all ran in the water with excitement.
We all felt sad when we heard that it was nearly time to go. We got out of the water had got hosed down. Everybody was changed and was ready to go home. Before we hoped in the bus Tanielu said our thank you to the life guards that were helping us all day.
During a ride home on the bus we sang some songs and said some jokes it was pretty funny you all should've came it was a fun time . I hope we go to Mairangi Bay another time and have heaps more fun.

Reflections about 'Jesse is BOY'
One day we decided to make a movie about a mighty teen mariner. I came up with the idea to a make the movie about Jesse Martin as ‘BOY’ as in ‘Boy’ the movie. We planned and planned for a long time, we finally had to film, it took an awfully long time but we finished. If you want to watch the movie that we made, buy a ticket and come and see it at the Manaiakalani Film Festival at Sylvia Park next month. Here are my reflections on what I thought about our movie.

Immersion Assembly
Immersion Assembly
On the first day of school every term we have an Immersion Assembly. You might be thinking what’s an Immersion assembly? Well an Immersion assembly is an assembly when all the teachers dress up to give us a clue what this terms topic might be.
At our school we have 5 teams of teachers. Each team of teachers have a chance to go on to the stage and introduce themselves.
The topic that I remember the most is ‘Up Up And Away’ because it was so amazing when the hot air balloon came to our school and also when the police helicopter came as well it was so awesome.
I love Immersion Assembly’s and I’m pretty sure you’ll love them to.

Mt Taranaki DLO
This term we are learning about Active Earth. Our class were asked retell the story of The Legend Of Mt Taranaki. The group members of my group were April, Gabby, Ocean and me.
We decided to retell the story by using green screening but we didn't quite get to do it because none of our team members knew how to. So, we used the green screen for our background. April and I were in charge of the editing, Ocean was in charge of the props and Gabby was in charge of the script and story board.
We were glad that we place second in our whole class. Our score was 17/25. I really enjoyed working with my group it was fun and so was our project.
Here is our assessment rubric for the Mt Taranaki DLO
Here are my reflections about what I learnt from the Mt Taranaki DLO.
Please give me some feedback or feedforward. You can help me with my learning also.
